The beautiful and graceful American Buff goose has a calm and friendly personality.

American Buff Gander:

 

The American Buff is a large bird (gander 22 - 28 lb, goose 20 - 26 lb) that requires plenty of grazing to flourish. It needs a lot of splashing water and enjoys swimming.

American Buff Goose:

 

This is an upright bird with a strong neck and chunky body. It's colour should be an even buff with no shades of grey. Both the bill and legs are orange and the eyes are brown with an orange eye ring.

American Buff Goose:

As a meat breed, the American Buff is quoted to be a 'moderate' layer of between 10 and 20 eggs per annum, however, so far my geese have laid a minimum of 40 eggs per annum.
