Double Laced Black/Gold Barnevelder Cock taking advantage of the welcome winter sun.

  

Barnevelders are excellent dark brown egg layers (180/200 + per annum) with an active, friendly personality. They are poor flyers and a medium height garden fence will keep them on your premises.

POL Double Laced Black/Gold Barnevelder Hen:

 

The Barnevelder's double laced markings showing hues of beetle green against chestnut brown and black coupled with its placid, easily tamed nature make it a very attractive bird. It's excellent egg laying capabilities are an added bonus.

New to my flock this year are the Blue Double Laced Barnevelder, having the same qualities as Black/Gold Barnevelder this hen makes a colourful addition to the flock.
