These are my own olive egg laying hens.

In more recent times pure breeds of chickens have been bred purely for show, and as a result they have lost their vigor, quality egg laying and reproductive abilities. I have developed the weirgloddau using the auto sexing Rhodebar cock to produce a strong, attractive and productive utility hen.

Weirgloddau Hen:

 

Weirgloddau are strong, bright and attractive birds that lay many large, speckled olive colored eggs 

Weirgloddau Eggs:

Weirgloddau are active from dawn to dusk and are best suited to an out door free to roam life. They are usually the last to roost after making sure that everyone else is safely tucked up!
